Valgray, Our Story.

Valgray established in 2019.

Valgray is a fashion-forward, luxury lifestyle brand for pets and their parents established in 2019 by a local, South African, dog-loving family of innovative designers and creators.
 
Family founders, Marco and Rhodé, have worked in design most of their adult lives and have a range of expertise, including architecture, jewellery design, and an array of digital marketing and creative branding skills. All of which has added to the creation of the Valgray experience, from concept to client.

Valgray is more than just a premium pet lifestyle brand. After adopting their beloved fur child Juno, a Chinese Shar-Pei, Marco and Rhodé created their brand out of love, admiration and passion.  

“Our dogs are our worlds. They are angels placed in our hands, and they deserve so much more than just the ordinary. That is why our mission through Valgray is to design and create beautiful, sophisticated alternatives to everyday dog accessories.” 

Since the launch of the very first Valgray collar in February 2019, the team is on a passion-fuelled mission to expand their product range to include different tastes while still keeping to their signature modern and sophisticated style.

Thanks to the amazing support Marco, Rhodé and Juno have received thus far, they can give back. The team are proud of helping doggos in need through several charitable initiatives and Project Cuddles & Crunchies. This would not be possible without YOU and your fur babies support, and for that, the Valgray team thanks you!
